Blood is the most precious donation that anyone can give to another person-The Gift of Life. Keeping up with its tradition, Rotaract Club of Guru Nanak College, Dhanbad partnered with Rotary club of Dhanbad, organized a Blood Donation Camp at Patliputra Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on 17th March, 2018.
26 units of blood were collected during the Camp. A complete blood report along with the donor card, and certificates of exemplary services was provided to every donor, through which the donor would be entitled for one unit of blood free of processing fee within a period of one year.
The Camp was inaugurated by Pushpa Tewari (Moderator, Rotaract Club, Guru Nanak College, Dhanbad). Members of Rotaract club around 30 in number had given a great input in the event. Donors Aakash, Swapnil, Ashish, Aditya Aman, Tushar, Hemant, Priyam, Kingshuk and many more actively participated in the blood donation camp by donating blood.
College received an enthusiastic response from the society. We appreciate and express gratitude to all the donors for lending unconditional support in helping saving lives, as we should always remember that,
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A DOCTOR TO SAVE LIVES, JUST DONATE BLOOD".
