ALUMNI REUNION 2020

“It is strange how we hold on to the pieces of the past while we wait for our future.”

Taking a step further in its pursuit of excellence, the college organized an Alumni meet 2020 to connect with the passed-out students who are now either pursuing their higher studies or properly settled in their career as academicians, professionals, entrepreneurs or home makers. The purpose of the meeting is building a bond with their Alma Mater. It lets them relive the carefree days of their college lives as they get a chance to visit all the locations, they once frequented. Passed-out students can be great support and help to the institution.

Many of the enthusiastic ex-students were present during the session of electing the new office bearers of the Alumni association of the college.

The meeting of Alumni Association was organized at S. J. S. Grewal Auditorium, Bhuda Campus on 16^th February, 2020 (Sunday). The meeting was conducted in order to reconnect with the alumni and to discuss the agenda of Alumni Association. Prof. P. Shekhar, Principal, Guru Nanak College addressed the alumni Association during the meet. The agenda of alumni meet goes as follows:

* to form the new executive committee of the Alumni Association.
* to pass a resolution to proceed with the registration of the association under the Societies Registration Act 1860.
* to pass a resolution for charging registration fee of rupees one hundred from each registered member.
* passing of resolution for organizing a cultural program in the month of March.

More than hundred alumni of college actively participated in this event. All the teachers and non - teaching staff also extended their support. The alumni got themselves registered with the association. The following persons got elected office-bearers of Alumni Association:
