Grievance Redressal Cell  

Guru Nanak College Governing Council reconstituted - Grievance Redressal Cell of the College on 23.12.2023 which is thus:-

  (a) Sardar Diljaun Singh Garewal – Secretary, Guru Nanak College, Dhanbad
  (b) Prof. Amarjit Singh - Prof.-in-Charge, Main Campus, Bhuda
  (c) Dr. Ranjana Das - Prof.-in-Charge, Women's Wing, Bankmore Campus
  (d) Prof. Santosh Kumar - H.O.D., Commerce
  (e) Prof. Dipak Kumar - Controller of Examination

It was decided that issues related with grievances of any kind (students/teachers/staff) would be referred to the above committee for conducting an impartial enquiry and fact finding.

The above committee was authorised to make specific recommendations on issues of grievances to the Principal, who will finally refer the matter to the College Governing Council.

Grievances to be included will be of the following nature:-

  (1) Refusing admission in accordance with the declared admission policy of the college
  (2) Non publication of the prospectus
  (3) Making admission contrary to the merit determined by the institution
  (4) Capitation Fee if any
  (5) Non-payment of scholarship
  (6) Denial of quality education
  (7) On provision of student amenities as may have been promised by the institution
  (8) Harassment and victimization of students
