18th December, 2018. In this winter season, Rotaract club of G. N. College has distributed around 120 blankets and 500 of clothes to the most poor and needy people including children and old citizens, in the Jhoraphatak area, near Shakti Mandir.
Members of the club had collected a good amount of warm blankets and clothes from college students. The clothes collected were distributed among poor people on 18th December, 2018. Rotaract club members of BCA G. N. College along with the principal of Guru Nanak College, Dhanbad Prof. P. Shekar, Prof-Incharge Dr. Ranjana Das, Club Moderator Prof. Pushpa Tiwari and students of BCA semester 1, semester 3 and semester 5 around 30 in numbers were participated in the event.
The beneficiaries after receiving the warm blankets and clothes extended great thanks to donor, Rotaract club of G. N. College for giving their kind support and saving the life in severe coldness, as we should always remember that,
"Giving is not just about making a donation,
It is about making a difference".
