In recent years, the students of Department of Economics have done exceptionally well in their final University examinations. More than 95% of our students of 2015-18 and 2016-19 batch under CBCS system have secured 1st Division in Economics Honours programme.
3rd lecture of Guru Nanak Dev Lecture Series – one day Lecture programme – was organised on 18th July 2018 by the Department of Economics on a very relevant topic: “Growth without jobs”.
