A parent teacher meet was organized in Department of Computer Application on Sunday, 5th January, 2020. The meeting started at 10:30 am and continued till 1.30 pm. The parents of BCA Students sem1 (2019-22), sem2 (2018-21) and sem5 (2017-20) came to meet the teachers of the department. The parents were informed about the attendance, conduct, participation and activity of their wards in the college. They were also explained about the functioning of the department. The team of teachers of the Department of Computer Science led by the Principal of the college were present to do all the explaining required to the queries of the parents. The guardians where encouraged to be frank and forthright in their comments and feedback. One of the parent showed interest in attending one of the workshops which were regularly and frequently conducted by the department, while some parents requested the college management to intensify career counselling to the final year students.
The meeting was presided over by the Principal, Prof. P. Shekhar, Guru Nanak College, Dhanbad. Co-coordinator Prof. Pushpa Tewari, Prof. Uday K Sinha, Prof. Sanjay Sinha, Prof. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Varsha Singh, Prof. Manisha and Prof. Kalyan Paul. The parents were given feedback by the college authorities on attendance and performance of their wards.
