A Parent Teachers’ Meeting was organized by the Department of History at its Bhuda Campus on 09th Feb. 2020. 430 parents along with their wards participated in the meeting in order to discuss the academic, Co-circular and extra-curricular performance of the students.
Prof. P. Shekhar, Principal, Guru Nanak College addressed the parents regarding the initiatives taken by the college for the betterment of the students. He encouraged the parents to play an active role for the overall development of their wards. He also offered suggestions, and recommended various measures for improvement among their wards.
Dr. Ranjana Das, Head Department of History welcomed the parents and briefed them about their wards’ performance. She also stressed on the importance of the need of collaborative team work by the parents as well as teachers which could be an effective tool for the continuous improvement in the society. Parents were encouraged to appreciate students’ participation is all academic activities.
Dr. Sarita Madesia, Prof. Abhishek Kr. Sinha, Prof. Karuna Singh and Prof. Arnab Serkhel were present at the meeting to provide personal feedback and progress report of the students.
