Away from the hustle of city life, we were in Tundi on 1st September, 2019 for a special cause. In Swarup Saraswati Vidya Mandir Tundi, a free health check-up camp was organised by Rotary Club of Dhanbad in which 10 divisions were there like skin specialist, child specialist, general physician, dental, eye specialist and others.
We borrowed the task among us, some as volunteers of doctors and some occupied position at registration desks beside Rotarians. We saw a huge crowd waiting in queue for us.
The crowd consisted of 1100 people consisting of all age groups. Free medicines were also provided along with check-up. Children who were poor fed were given protein powder along with medicines which was also free of cost. Free food and chocolates were also provided to children and their smile showed the success of our effort.
After the completion of a successful camp, we had our lunch in the mess of the hostel and captured the successful event with our parent body, Rotary Club of Dhanbad in our cameras and with full joy and pride we returned our college.
